Epic OpTime & Anesthesia Analyst - Hybrid in San Francisco, CA

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Epic OpTime & Anesthesia Analyst with strong experience in ambulatory and dental care settings. This role will focus on building, supporting, optimizing, and enhancing the Epic OpTime and Anesthesia modules, ensuring seamless integration with ambulatory workflows to improve patient care and clinical efficiency. The ideal candidate will be an expert in Epic OpTime and Anesthesia, with the ability to collaborate across IT, clinical, and administrative teams, delivering solutions that meet diverse user needs in ambulatory and surgical environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, maintain, and support Epic OpTime and Anesthesia modules, ensuring efficient workflows and system stability aligned with ambulatory and surgical needs.
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders and end-users to assess needs and develop scalable solutions for ambulatory surgery and anesthesia workflows.
  • Lead and contribute to projects like Epic functionality upgrades, system integrations, and ambulatory optimization efforts.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement system updates, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Work with clinical and operational teams to enhance workflows in surgery centers and anesthesia departments.
  • Analyze current processes, identify improvements, and implement best practices for system configurations.
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on system enhancements and best practices.
  • Serve as a tier-3 support resource, troubleshooting complex issues and coordinating with Epic and IT teams.
  • Assist leadership with data-driven insights to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Epic analysts and IT specialists to ensure integration with related modules like EpicCare Ambulatory and Cadence.
  • Act as a liaison between clinical users and IT teams to ensure Epic configurations meet clinical goals and compliance standards.

  • Epic, Epic Ambulatory, Epic Inpatient, Anesthesia, Clarity, OpTime, Reporting Workbench
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities

Certifications:

  • Epic OpTime and Anesthesia certifications are required
  • EpicCare Ambulatory certification is a plus
  • Additional Epic certifications are advantageous

Experience Level:
Expert level, with extensive experience in Epic systems and clinical workflows

Pay and Benefits:
