Job Description

1. Medical Information Handling

  • Responsibility for handling medical information inquiries in English and ideally one other language in which you are fluent.
  • Receive and answer calls from people requiring medical services or clarifications regarding Medical Entities, Medical Devices, Vaccines, or Cosmetics.
  • Understand the requirements of the callers and provide precise information during Inbound/Outbound calls.

2. Customer Service and Multi-tasking

  • Work quickly and efficiently by multi-tasking, demonstrating the ability to provide good customer service.
  • Ensure that the information provided about the products is accurate and complete to meet customer needs.

3. Follow-up and Information Gathering

  • Follow up with callers if the adverse information is incomplete and reach out to the reporter/enquirer to obtain all the required details.

4. Inquiry Response and Collaboration

  • Provide approved responses to medical inquiries from external customers, including healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Assist internal departments of pharmaceutical clients with inquiries when needed.
  • Act as a call handling agent as part of the Medical Information Call Center.

5. Research and Literature Support

  • Prepare responses to inquiries based on research in medical literature and collaboration with physicians, both internally and with pharmaceutical clients, if applicable.

6. Out-of-Hours Medical Information Service

  • Participate in the out-of-hours provision of medical information for clients who have contracted a 24/7 inquiry handling service.
