Job Summary
As the Director of Pharmacovigilance, you will lead operational and project managers, fostering client relationships and ensuring the delivery of quality data within project timelines. You will be instrumental in enhancing our processes, driving value for our business while meeting client needs.

Key Responsibilities
Client Interfacing:

Uphold ICON's values focusing on People, Clients, and Performance.
Provide consultancy to clients on Pharmacovigilance system analysis, process development, and inspection readiness.
Offer strategic and tactical input on client project planning and execution.
Participate in steering committees and resolve escalated issues.
Oversee standalone safety projects, ensuring governance and adherence to timelines and budgets.
Maintain client partnerships to secure repeat business through successful project delivery.
Business Development & Department Management:

Contribute to project proposals and participate in hiring initiatives.
Forecast staffing needs based on business projections and departmental goals.
Monitor department profitability, performance metrics, and global pharmacovigilance processes.
Represent ICON at industry meetings and corporate events.
People Leadership:

Collaborate with corporate recruiting for effective staffing.
Manage a team of Pharmacovigilance experts, ensuring resource availability.
Oversee training and career development for team members.
Provide mentorship and performance feedback to staff.
