Job Summary:

With a legacy of over 80 years, we partner with our customers in transforming science and healthcare. We are currently looking for a Development Scientist I to join our R&D team. This role will focus on developing flow cytometry products, including immunophenotyping panels for Leukemia & Lymphoma, and contribute to product launch activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in flow cytometry, data analysis, and assay development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in research and development activities related to flow cytometry, including the development of immunophenotyping panels and analytical methods for testing multicolor panels for Leukemia & Lymphoma.
  • Contribute to feasibility studies and protocol development.
  • Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and develop solutions for complex problems.
  • Support technology transfer and ensure the consistency and cost-effectiveness of GMP production processes.
  • Assist with the preparation of high-quality technical documents and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Create and deliver technical presentations to update relevant functions on project status.
  • Maintain well-organized laboratory notebooks in compliance with procedures.
  • Manage project-related inventory and communicate requirements to the project planner.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Immunology, Cell Biology, Life Sciences, or related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in immunology, flow cytometry, immunophenotyping, or assay development techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with flow cytometry sample preparation, acquisition, data analysis, and assay optimization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Experience with analytical techniques and technology transfer.
  • Ability to create technical documents and presentations.

This is an on-site position based in Bangalore, India.
