Job Overview:

The Data Team Lead will manage the end-to-end delivery of data management services for single or multi-service projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables on time and within budget. The role involves providing comprehensive expertise to the Data Management (DM) team and leading activities in project planning, execution, and close-out, including financial management, communications, and milestone deliverables.


Essential Functions:

Study Setup & Validation:

  • Gather study setup requirements through communication with relevant stakeholders.

  • Support and oversee the validation of new device integrations with minimal guidance.

Data Quality & Deliverables:

  • Perform regular data cleaning activities to ensure quality and timely data delivery to the sponsor.

  • Ensure that all deliverables meet the expected quality standards and customer expectations.

  • Oversee service and quality to ensure timelines and deliverables meet the agreed-upon contract/SOW.

Training & Leadership:

  • Support the training of new joiners to the team.

  • Lead internal study meetings, sponsor audits, and participate in study kick-off meetings.

  • Track and manage project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.

Technology & Process Innovation:

  • Oversee the implementation of new technology and database revisions.

  • Work closely with the programming team to drive process innovation and automation.

Compliance & Communication:

  • Ensure compliance with required training and eSOP reading.

  • Provide expert input in developing and revising core operating procedures and working instructions.

  • Foster collaborative communication with the line manager and other team members across functions.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform other duties as directed by the Line Manager.


Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent (Preferred).

  • Experience:

    • 3-4 years of direct data management experience, including a minimum of 1 year as a CDM project lead (Preferred).

  • Skills & Knowledge:

    • Fluent in English (spoken and written), with advanced proficiency.

    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other computer applications.

    • Strong understanding of the drug development lifecycle and overall clinical research process (Advanced).
