Position Title: Marketing Manager - Innovative Vaccine Brand

Company: Pfizer Products India Pvt Ltd

Job Purpose: Drive the implementation of cutting-edge brand management practices and programs for assigned brands/portfolio, with a focus on achieving revenue and profitability targets for an innovative vaccine brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning:

    • Support the strategic planning process by leveraging customer insights to enhance market penetration and achieve business goals.
    • Develop impactful promotional programs and activities aligned with marketing plans, promotional cycles, and current targets.
    • Optimize budget utilization to maximize program effectiveness.
  2. Campaign Management:

    • Oversee the preparation of project briefs, agency selection, CEP registration, and progress tracking.
    • Ensure timely delivery of monthly reports and review IMS and dashboard metrics with the Commercial Brand Lead (CBL).
  3. Collaboration and Approvals:

    • Coordinate with medical and legal teams to secure necessary approvals for promotional materials.
    • Train field force on product knowledge, positioning, and prioritization.
  4. Performance Monitoring:

    • Monitor and control marketing plan performance through monthly and quarterly evaluation of key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Prepare and present marketing slides for POA/review meetings and other key events.
  5. Cross-Functional Team Coordination:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve brand/portfolio objectives.
    • Develop partnerships with vendors to enhance diagnostic infrastructure in the country.
  6. Local Market Adaptation:

    • Tailor brand strategies to local market needs and set local priorities for brands or therapeutic areas (TAs).
    • Manage local agencies for project transcreation, including budget, scope, timing, and quality.
  7. Forecasting and Communication:

    • Forecast brand performance and track progress towards targets.
    • Communicate monthly field performance and action items for the brand.
  8. Campaigns and Awareness:

    • Drive immunization campaigns and shape therapy.
    • Collaborate with external partners to increase PCV vaccine awareness among consumers.

Accountabilities:

  1. Brand Plan:

    • Review and align brand strategies with CBL, regulatory, and legal requirements.
  2. Campaign Development:

    • Select and implement appropriate campaign modules based on country needs.
  3. Promotional Compliance:

    • Manage compliance reviews of promotional materials.

Shared Accountabilities:

  1. Life Cycle Management:

    • Develop and implement life cycle management plans for brands/portfolio.
  2. Long-Range Forecasting:

    • Collaborate with BU leads and CBL for long-range brand forecasting.
  3. Promotional Strategy:

    • Develop and execute promotional meeting strategies and training in collaboration with medical and regulatory teams.
    • Create awareness campaigns and congress content with KOLs.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • 5-8 years of marketing or medical experience, with a preference for experience in vaccine marketing.
  • Master’s degree in management or an MBA from a Tier I/II or premium institution.
  • Proven ability to work within a co-promotion and matrix structure.
  • Demonstrates strong business acumen, decisiveness, accountability, and leadership.
  • Exceptional skills in marketing execution, customer and competitor insight, data analysis, and program metrics.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, negotiation, and prioritization skills.
  • Proficiency in English and the local language.
