Role Title: Consultant – Full Time
Role Summary:
The Consultant will handle report authorization for Clinical Pathology, maintain TAT, manage QC processes, and serve as an NABL Authorized Signatory. This role involves working with diagnostic labs, hospitals, and government medical colleges, specifically as an Assistant Professor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Authorize test reports in Hematology, Biochemistry, and Clinical Pathology
  • Plan and implement internal and external quality control and proficiency tests with the Laboratory Manager
  • Handle complaints and work to reduce them
  • Optimize staff and equipment utilization
  • Ensure results are reported within turnaround time through Sectional Heads and review their performance
  • Manage clerical, analytical, and pre-analytical errors
  • Authorize tests for the designated department
  • Ensure good clinical practices, quality assurance, and quality control
  • Provide training on good laboratory practices
  • Lead and manage laboratory manpower effectively
  • Ensure accuracy in results reported

Essential:

  • Education: MBBS + MD Pathology / DNB in Clinical Pathology
  • Experience: 1 – 4 years

Desirable:

  • MBBS + MD Pathology
  • Experience: 0 – 4 years
