Job Description: Clinical Trial Administrator (CTA)

Duties and Responsibilities

The Clinical Trial Administrator (CTA) is responsible for assisting the Clinical Trial Manager (CTM) CEP Operations Group across one or more Therapeutic Strategy Units (TSUs), Development Programs Units (DPUs), Global Medical Affairs (GMA), US Medical Affairs (USMA), or similar departments at a specific geographical site. The role involves:

Primary Responsibilities

  • Performing routine administrative tasks associated with the coordination of clinical trials.
  • Providing administrative support, which may include:
    • General administrative support.
    • Operational administrative responsibilities.
  • Adhering to current processes, policies, and standards.
  • Maintaining a high level of confidentiality.

Support Structure

  • Responsibilities may vary based on:
    • Size of the team.
    • Workload capacity.
    • CTA’s skill level.
    • Business needs.
  • Support may be primary or backup, or a combination of both general and operational administrative support.

Experience

  • 6 to 9 years of relevant experience.
