About the Role:

The Meta Health and Wellbeing team is seeking a highly experienced Clinical Study Operation Lead to support clinical research operations. This role involves working closely with clinical operations team members and clinical research scientists on digital health projects focused on improving morbidity, mortality, and reducing inequities in health outcomes globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Research Operations Support: Oversee clinical research infrastructure and operations in collaboration with contract research organizations and/or academic institutions.

  • Protocol Development & Quality Management: Contribute to clinical research protocol development, execution, and quality management, partnering with engineering, product management, and other cross-functional teams.

  • Study Roadmap Execution: Manage day-to-day execution of study roadmaps, including documentation, recruitment, data management, data quality monitoring, and reporting.

  • Training & SOP Compliance: Develop and train clinical study coordinators on standard operating procedures (SOPs), use of electronic data capture (EDC) systems, and data monitoring procedures.

  • Travel Requirement: Travel at least 25% as part of the role.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience:

    • 8+ years of experience in clinical research coordination/operations in industry, academic settings, or clinical environments in North America.

    • Experience with digital health and medical device research.

    • Proven track record of clinical study operational execution and interdisciplinary collaboration.

  • Educational Background:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Science with 8+ years of experience.

    • Master's Degree in Science with 6+ years of experience.

    • Ph.D. with 4+ years of experience.

  • Human Subjects Research Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of conducting human subjects clinical research.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry Expertise: Experience in digital health and/or consumer health product research.

  • CRO Experience: Experience with contract research organizations (CROs) and managing virtual or remote clinical studies.

  • Multi-Center & Regulatory Studies: Knowledge of multi-center clinical research projects, regulatory studies, various study designs, and study data capture methods.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $129,000 - $185,000 per year (base compensation)
