Clinical Specialist – Upstate New York

Role Overview: As a Clinical Specialist, you will independently cover Intracept cases and train surgical teams on the device's safe and effective use. Your role involves supporting cases across various locations, including nationwide as needed. You will collaborate with surgical teams to assist surgeons, provide clinical product support, and contribute to physician and sales training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical case coverage and support for sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Train surgical teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes and provide verbal support during cases.
  • Stay updated on perioperative surgical technology practices and hospital/ASC policies.
  • Develop technical expertise to serve as an educational and clinical resource.
  • Interact professionally with healthcare providers and ensure the accuracy of equipment and inventory management.
  • Assist in delivering procedural training to physicians and medical staff.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, or X-rays/radiography is essential.
  • High School Diploma or GED with at least 4 years in a clinical specialist or related role, preferably in a medical device company; OR
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role (Rad. Tech. / Surg. Tech., etc.), preferably in a medical device company.
  • Experience in customer relationships and procedural skills development.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and insurance.
  • Ability to travel 20-30% and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Operating Room experience or exposure to surgical procedures.
  • Spine or Pain Management experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Anticipated base salary: $90,000, with variable compensation based on performance and company incentives.
