About This Role

At Parexel, our Clinical Operations Leaders (COL) and Clinical Trial Managers (CTM) average nearly 10 years with the company, and we are expanding our team. We currently have home-based positions available in Canada.

As the Clinical Liaison to the Project Leader, the COL/CTM leads the clinical aspects of trials and directly impacts projects, teams, and clients, ultimately benefiting the patients we serve.

The COL/CTM is accountable for executing the clinical operations strategy for the project, coordinating functional team members and their activities across all geographies. They liaise with project leadership and the sponsor to ensure that Global Research Operations deliverables—such as timelines, quality, and productivity—are met. In some cases, the COL/CTM may also act as the Project Leader for projects with a limited scope.

Successful candidates will provide clinical leadership to project teams and manage day-to-day clinical operations, striving for operational excellence through timely delivery within budget and to the highest quality standards, all while aiming to exceed client expectations.

Key Qualifications

  • Degree in a life science or nursing qualification, or relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience leading clinical operations of clinical trials in a COL, CTM, or CPM role within a CRO.
  • Prior monitoring experience (preferred) or clinical trial coordination, as well as experience leading cross-functional groups.
  • Global COL/CTM experience required.

Skills

To excel in this role, candidates should be detail-oriented, computer proficient, and possess superior interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
