Role Overview:

As a Clinical Data Services Associate at Accenture, you will work within the Life Sciences R&D vertical, supporting the clinical data management process. Your responsibilities will include performing data management activities such as discrepancy reviews, query generation, resolution, and clinical data project management. You will also help ensure the collection, integration, and availability of high-quality clinical data. Additionally, you will provide medical expertise for trial oversight and safety concerns and assist in protocol development and validation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management: Perform data management activities including discrepancy review, query generation, and resolution to ensure high-quality data integration.
  • Protocol Development: Assist in creating, reviewing, and validating protocol requirements based on applicable SOPs.
  • CRF Completion: Develop and manage CRF Completion Guidelines (CCG) and SAE reconciliation guidelines.
  • Test Cases and Validation: Conduct edit check validation by creating test cases, writing test scripts, and performing UAT to validate clinical data against CRF/ECRF specifications.
  • Project Management: Manage and oversee clinical data management projects to ensure the efficient handling of data and adherence to timelines.
  • Medical Expertise: Provide medical expertise to address trial oversight and safety concerns during the clinical trial process.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy or a related field.
    • BE/Bachelor of Pharmacy/Master of Pharmacy.
  • Experience:
    • 1 to 3 years of experience in clinical data management or related roles within the life sciences industry.
  • Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to apply general guidelines to routine issues.
    • Good written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks and environments.
