Role Overview:
As a Clinical Data Services Associate at Accenture, you will be a part of the Life Sciences R&D vertical within our Clinical Data Management team. Your role will focus on ensuring the integrity and availability of clinical data throughout the life cycle of clinical trials. You will be responsible for tasks such as discrepancy review, query generation and resolution, test case creation, and database validation (UAT). You will also provide medical expertise for trial oversight and safety concerns, including protocol review and specification validation.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Management and Oversight:
- Perform data management activities including discrepancy review, query generation, and resolution.
- Develop CRF Completion Guidelines (CCG) and SAE reconciliation guidelines.
- Identify and report protocol deviations in the database.
- Perform edit check validation by creating test cases.
- Write test scripts and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on databases to ensure compliance with CRF/ECRF specifications.
- Contribute to the oversight of medical safety and protocol adherence in clinical trials.
Medical Expertise and Protocol Validation:
- Provide medical oversight for trial safety concerns.
- Review and validate protocol requirement specifications in accordance with applicable SOPs.
Problem Solving and Learning:
- Solve routine problems through precedent and general guidelines.
- Collaborate primarily with your team and supervisor for direction and guidance.
- Demonstrate quick learning and adaptability in the clinical data management process.
Collaboration and Team Contribution:
- Work as an individual contributor within a team, adhering to predetermined tasks and a focused scope of work.
- Interact mainly with team members and direct supervisors for task completion and updates.
Shift Work:
- This role may require rotational shift work.

Qualifications and Experience:

Educational Background:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy, Master of Pharmacy, or BE.
Experience:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in clinical data management or related fields in Life Sciences.
- Understanding of clinical trial data management, protocol requirements, and medical monitoring.
Skills:
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Agility to learn new concepts quickly and adapt to changing tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in team settings with clear task delineation.
