Job Description:

Syneos Health is seeking a Clinical Coder II to join our home-based team in India. This role will involve coding for multicenter large trials and ensuring the quality and consistency of coding listings. You will work with coding tools such as Thesaurus Management System (TMS), RAVE Coder, and Inform Central Coding. Your responsibilities will also include data transfer, Serious Adverse Event (SAE) reconciliation, and understanding regulatory requirements for coding processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Code data for multicenter large trials with an emphasis on quality and consistency.
  • Lead coding efforts, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and protocols.
  • Conduct coding quality checks using tools like TMS, RAVE Coder, and Inform Central Coding.
  • Support coding setup activities and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Manage Clinical Trial processes, including data management activities, DM Query Management, and SAE reconciliation.
  • Handle data transfer activities and work with DMBS systems.

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA Degree in Biological Sciences, Healthcare, or Clinical Research preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Medical Coding.
  • Strong understanding and experience with WHODrug.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email, and voicemail.
  • Ability to travel as necessary (up to 25%).
