Job Description:
Fortrea is hiring for Call Center Representatives to recruit volunteer participants for Phase 1 normal healthy volunteer studies. This is a part-time role, requiring approximately 20 hours a week.
Training:
On-site in the Dallas clinic for 4 weeks.
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CDT.
Job Overview:
The Clinical Call Center Representative will be responsible for handling public inquiries about study participation and scheduling screening appointments for qualified participants.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Receive and place calls to and from potential study participants.
Enter medical history and demographic data into a computerized database.
Communicate study information to potential participants.
Phone screen participants according to provided scripts.
Schedule and confirm screening appointments for qualified participants.
Make recommendations for process improvements.
Respond to inquiries via the Fortrea CRU email account.
Liaise with the screening department to coordinate necessary screening information.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications (Minimum Required):
Education: USA High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 1-2 years in customer service or call center. Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Regularly required to sit.
Must have excellent communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Must have excellent computer skills.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
