Job Description:

Fortrea is hiring for Call Center Representatives to recruit volunteer participants for Phase 1 normal healthy volunteer studies. This is a part-time role, requiring approximately 20 hours a week.

Training:

  • On-site in the Dallas clinic for 4 weeks.

  • Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CDT.

Job Overview:

The Clinical Call Center Representative will be responsible for handling public inquiries about study participation and scheduling screening appointments for qualified participants.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Receive and place calls to and from potential study participants.

  • Enter medical history and demographic data into a computerized database.

  • Communicate study information to potential participants.

  • Phone screen participants according to provided scripts.

  • Schedule and confirm screening appointments for qualified participants.

  • Make recommendations for process improvements.

  • Respond to inquiries via the Fortrea CRU email account.

  • Liaise with the screening department to coordinate necessary screening information.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Minimum Required):

  • Education: USA High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Experience: 1-2 years in customer service or call center. Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

  • Regularly required to sit.

  • Must have excellent communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

  • Must have excellent computer skills.

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
