Job Description:

Join Access Healthcare as a Client Partner - Pathology Coding and advance your career in healthcare revenue cycle management. This role requires expertise in pathology coding, accuracy in diagnosis and procedure coding, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign accurate diagnosis and CPT codes per ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding guidelines.
  • Perform coding and auditing for outpatient and inpatient records with 96%+ accuracy.
  • Maintain proficiency in pathology coding and exceed productivity norms.
  • Ensure adherence to turnaround time requirements for medical coding.
  • Maintain high professional and ethical standards in coding practices.
  • Work on projects that help customers prevent revenue leakage while ensuring compliance.
  • Participate in team meetings and educational conferences to stay updated on coding skills and industry standards.

Job Requirements:

  • Graduates in Life Sciences with 2 - 4 years of medical coding experience in surgery or pathology.
  • Experience in medical coding and physician education, preferably in surgery coding.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, coding procedures, and regulatory requirements in an ambulatory setting.
  • Proficiency in CPT-4, ICD-9, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding.
  • CCS/CPC/CPC-H/CIC/COC certification from AAPC/AHIMA is a plus.
  • Valid coding certification proof required.
  • Strong understanding of medical coding and billing systems, auditing concepts, and regulatory compliance.
