The Cardiac Data Processing Specialist role at ICON involves reviewing, processing, and ensuring the quality of cardiac data for clinical trials, primarily related to clinical trial participants' test recordings. This position requires attention to detail, data correction, and communication with trial sponsors to address discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Review & Processing:

    • Review cardiac data and compare it with trial-specific data acquisition guides.

    • Process data and communicate readiness to Medical Operations personnel.

    • Correct demographic data based on queries or make self-evident corrections.

  2. Discrepancy Management:

    • Communicate data discrepancies to trial sponsors and sites through the Query Management System.

    • Investigate and report the status of specific data and/or queries to the Manager of Incoming Data Processing.

  3. Administrative Tasks:

    • Use the time reporting system to report exception time weekly.

    • Handle administrative tasks like travel and expense reporting in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate degree or professional certification.

  • Experience: 1-2 years in data coordination, quality assurance, or customer service, preferably within healthcare or clinical trials.
