Job Purpose:

This position requires an experienced Project Manager with expertise in Translational Medicine. The role will involve collaborating with scientific teams in Translational Medicine and stakeholders at Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) to oversee operational and logistical aspects of research programs, including budgeting, resource planning, supply chain coordination, milestone tracking, and deviation management.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management: Lead the operational execution of designated projects, establish milestones, and collaborate with stakeholders on project deliverables and timelines.
Project Coordination: Initiate project discussions, track project progress, and maintain a detailed project plan to monitor progress.
Resource Management: Assist in managing changes in project scope, schedule, and costs, ensuring proper verification techniques.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on time tracking, resource planning, project updates, and other performance metrics.
Risk Management: Participate in risk management activities to minimize project-related risks.
Sample Management: Coordinate sample shipment, manifest preparation, and regular follow-ups with the sample management team.
Documentation: Maintain complete project documentation and track the project overview.

Educational Qualification:

Master of Science (any domain of life sciences)
Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP)

Technical/Functional Skills:

Strong competencies in planning, project management, outsourcing, and resource management.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Solid analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to produce clear, concise, and professionally written communications and presentations.
Knowledge of quality systems and experience in SOP preparation and review.

Experience:

2 to 4 years of industry experience in project management, with a focus on Translational Medicine.

Behavioral Skills:

Good problem-solving, oratory, and documentation skills.
Learning attitude, collaboration, analytical abilities, and responsiveness with a sense of urgency.

Stakeholders:

BBRC scientific teams in Translational Medicine (TM)
BMS stakeholders in TM
BBRC Enabling Functions (e.g., Supply Chain)
Other stakeholders as required
