Position Overview

This role is part of the Safety Operations team within Global Patient Safety (GPS). You will serve as a subject matter expert in literature review and intake activities, conducting reviews of literature abstracts and articles while managing the intake of related cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review weekly literature abstracts to identify valid and invalid safety cases.
  • Order and analyze full-text literature articles for safety case creation.
  • Manage the intake of valid and invalid safety cases derived from literature reviews.
  • Conduct quality control for abstract and article reviews, both in real-time and retrospectively as needed.
  • Train and certify new hires in literature review and intake processes.
  • Order copyrights and translations when necessary.
  • Perform follow-up activities for literature cases.

Qualifications

  • Strong medical and clinical knowledge.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Capability to thrive under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in multitasking and prioritizing daily workloads.
  • Familiarity with Pharmacovigilance Safety Systems and Literature Tracking Tools.
