Position Overview

Sun Pharma is seeking an Associate Vice President (AVP) for the Head of Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize Sun’s partnerships with Integrated Delivery Networks. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with key IDN stakeholders to ensure the efficient delivery of pharmaceutical products. The Head of IDNs will lead a team and collaborate with various cross-functional teams to drive growth, improve patient access, and enhance operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for integrated delivery networks that aligns with company goals.

  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers and other key IDN stakeholders to foster collaboration.

  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team responsible for network integration, contract management, and performance optimization.

  • Contract Negotiation: Oversee the negotiation and development of contracts with healthcare systems and 340B entities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze and monitor the performance of sales to delivery networks, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams such as Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory to ensure alignment on IDN initiatives.

  • Industry Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to inform decision-making and maintain a competitive advantage.

  • Reporting: Provide regular performance reports and updates to senior leadership, including key metrics and outcomes.


Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, MHA, etc.) preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry, with a focus on integrated delivery networks, managed care, or health systems.

  • Proven success in selling to integrated delivery networks, including contract negotiation and performance optimization.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate high-performing teams.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strategic thinking with strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to integrated delivery networks and managed care.

  • Travel flexibility to meet key stakeholders and support network initiatives.

Preferred

  • Strong background in healthcare systems, 340B programs, and managed care strategies.
