The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Rheumatology, Immunology, and Allergy seeks an MD academic clinician educator specializing in clinical rheumatology and education. This position offers opportunities for clinical practice, education, and collaborative research in a world-class academic environment.


Job Responsibilities

  • Clinical Care:

    • Diagnose and treat musculoskeletal and autoimmune disorders, including a variety of rheumatologic conditions.
    • Provide outpatient clinic care and inpatient hospital service, including consultations.
  • Education:

    • Precept fellows, residents, and medical students in both ambulatory and inpatient settings.
    • Deliver lectures and lead small group discussions as part of the College of Medicine and fellowship curriculum.
    • Train and mentor learners at various stages of their medical education.
  • Research and Collaboration:

    • Engage in collaborative research opportunities based on interest.
  • Other Responsibilities:

    • Participate in departmental and institutional initiatives.
    • Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Medical Degree (MD).
  • Training:
    • Completion of a 4-year Internal Medicine residency.
    • Completion of a 2-year Rheumatology fellowship.
  • Licensure: Must hold or obtain an Ohio Medical License prior to start date.
