Job Description:

As an Associate Project Manager - Supply Outsourcing Coordinator (SOC) at Sanofi Global Hub, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing outsourced supply chain activities. Your primary responsibilities will involve overseeing the entire supply process, from forecasting to delivery, and ensuring compliance with our operational and quality standards. You will be the key contact for Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) and will collaborate with various internal teams to ensure efficient and effective supply management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Outsourced Supply Management:

    • Develop and manage outsourced supply processes, including forecasting, delivery, packaging, and labeling.
    • Coordinate with Medical Operations, Industrial Affairs/Distribution teams, Clinical Supply Chain Operations, and CMC to ensure seamless supply management.
    • Track and oversee vendor performance, including KPI monitoring and invoice reviews.
  2. Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) Management:

    • Build and maintain effective relationships with CMOs, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements and quality standards.
    • Manage deviations and risks associated with product management, and conduct quarterly business reviews with vendors.
  3. Performance and Process Improvement:

    • Ensure all deliverables meet timelines, quality targets, and compliance requirements.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and manage risks with appropriate backup plans.
    • Investigate issues, identify root causes, and recommend remediation plans.
  4. Supply Planning and Order Management:

    • Perform supply planning, order management, and backlog management activities.
    • Support completion of RFPs and Technical Conditions for CMOs.
    • Manage program/study demand forecasts in Kinaxis and resolve any discrepancies in forecasts.
  5. Stakeholder Interaction:

    • Serve as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, including GBU Medical Operations, CMO teams, Global Regulatory Managers, and others involved in outsourced supply activities.
    • Represent Medical Functions in decision-making committees and provide support for financial planning activities.
  6. Data Management and Reporting:

    • Track inventory, manage order backlogs, and oversee shipment reconciliation.
    • Extract and validate static data, ensuring integrity and consistency in supply chain systems.
    • Evaluate vendor service levels and report on CMO KPIs and metrics.

About You:

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years in supply chain activities such as demand & supply planning and third-party operations, including at least 3 years in the biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong administrative and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in MS Office and Smartsheet.
  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Languages:

    • Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
