Role Overview:

The Global Market Research Analyst will be instrumental in executing and managing global market research projects to support Eli Lilly's diverse portfolio of in-market and near-launch brands. This role involves developing and executing research plans, analyzing data, and reporting insights that drive brand performance and strategic decision-making. You will collaborate closely with internal market researchers across Lilly's global network and external agencies responsible for data collection and panel management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research Execution: Manage global market research projects, including finalizing questionnaires, developing recruiting lists, aggregating data, and interpreting results.
  • Data Analysis: Apply strong quantitative and analytical skills to interpret market data, cross-reference secondary sources, and generate actionable insights.
  • Collaboration: Partner with global market researchers and external agencies to ensure timely and accurate data collection and reporting.
  • Reporting: Create detailed reports for business partners, including conclusions and recommendations based on research findings.
  • Strategic Thinking: Develop research and analysis plans that address business questions and support strategic decision-making.
  • Continuous Improvement: Apply feedback to refine research processes and enhance the effectiveness of market research activities.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., data analysis, business consulting, public health, clinical research, or similar).

Experience Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in market research and analytics, with a proven ability to navigate ambiguous environments and think strategically.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong quantitative, research, and data analysis capabilities.
  • Proficiency with statistical packages (e.g., SPSS, Q) and databases.
  • Experience with coding or queries (e.g., Python, Java) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of statistical methods, including conjoint analysis, MaxDiff, linear regression, correlation, factor, and cluster analyses is advantageous.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
