Job Title: Medical Review Expert

Role Overview:

As a Medical Review Expert, you will provide essential medical review expertise to ensure the efficiency and quality of clinical data management. Your role will involve identifying patient anomalies, supporting project management activities, and maintaining strong customer relationships to ensure the proper handling and review of clinical study data from a medical perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Data Review: Identify patient data anomalies and ensure medical congruency with the study protocol to maintain the integrity and accuracy of clinical data.
Project Management: Provide expertise in project management, working closely with clinical study teams, key decision-makers, and internal teams to manage continuous improvements and issue resolution.
Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and quality service delivery.
Service Performance Tracking: Monitor service performance, identify root causes of issues, and implement corrective actions.
Compliance Issue Resolution: Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of compliance-related issues.
Subject Matter Expertise (SME): Serve as a subject matter expert in therapeutic areas and clinical data review.
Efficiency Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve task efficiency and the quality of deliverables.
Team Training: Provide training to the project clinical team on therapeutic areas and indications.
Client and Team Meetings: Participate in Kick-Off meetings, weekly team meetings, and client meetings as needed.

Qualifications:

Education:
- Medic (MBBS) with 2+ years of experience, or an MD (Fresher or with experience)
Experience:
- Experience in clinical data sciences within a CRO, pharmaceutical company, or other medical environments with leadership experience.
- A strong understanding of clinical and medical data, including medical terminology, pharmacology, anatomy, and physiology.
Skills:
- Medical knowledge combined with an operational focus, especially around metrics and status information.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and teamwork skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Project management and coaching skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize competing tasks.
- Customer-focused with the ability to maintain effective working relationships with clients and internal teams.
