About the Role
Labcorp is looking for an Assistant Manager for Global Operations Support to oversee the day-to-day operations and manage a team that supports global project plans and service levels. The role includes supervising team members, ensuring resource allocation, and monitoring progress toward Site Initiation & Kit Inventory Center objectives. This position will involve coaching, mentoring, and ensuring consistent implementation of global processes and procedures to maintain high performance.

Key Responsibilities

People Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the daily operations of team members, ensuring appropriate resource allocation to achieve project goals.

  • Balance workload within the team and participate in resource management across global teams.

  • Ensure consistent implementation, review, and use of SOPs.

  • Monitor progress and ensure objectives related to Site Initiation & Kit Inventory Center are met.

  • Implement, track, and report performance metrics; take corrective actions when necessary.

  • Initiate educational sessions for team members as needed.

  • Conduct performance reviews and monthly meetings to provide feedback to employees.

  • Mentor and coach team members for development of Individual Development Plans.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Manage day-to-day project activities with team members.

  • Liaise with global stakeholders and Kit Production Factory to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Implement and monitor performance metrics, taking corrective action when required.

  • Review Kit inventory procedures, providing recommendations and advice to stakeholders and Covance personnel.

  • Ensure seamless integration of Site Initiation & Kit Inventory Center.

  • Support continuous improvement, quality, and productivity within the team.

    • Monitor, track, and resolve all complaints, issues, and concerns for assigned customers/stakeholders.

    • Ensure that customer/stakeholder expectations are documented and acted upon.

    • Communicate and measure adherence to performance standards set by senior management.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing teams and ensuring effective project implementation.

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.

  • Experience in resource management and performance tracking.

  • Ability to manage and resolve customer/stakeholder issues and concerns.

  • Familiarity with SOP implementation and adherence to global processes.
