Job Description:

We are looking for an Assistant Manager - Delivery to oversee and manage a team in medical coding, specifically in Emergency Medicine (EM), ensuring service level agreements are met, and operational efficiency is optimized. This role includes managing staffing, implementing process improvements, and fostering a harmonious work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Service Level Agreements: Ensure all client deliverables are met within the specified timelines.
  • Team Training: Ensure the team understands client-specific training requirements and needs.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze team performance and implement process improvements to enhance productivity.
  • Staffing Strategy: Determine appropriate staffing levels and collaborate with support departments to ensure efficient staffing strategies.
  • Team Communication: Hold regular team meetings, communicate process and client updates, and maintain records of updates.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise the functional performance of the team, track productivity, quality percentage, and absenteeism, and encourage team managers to complete performance appraisals.
  • Client & Team Liaison: Act as a single point of contact for Team Leaders for client and team-related needs.

Job Specification:

  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in Medical Coding with a focus on Emergency Medicine (EM).
  • Certifications: Coding certifications such as CPC, CCS, COC, or AHIMA are required.
  • Education: Any graduate.
  • Skills: Strong experience in Client and Stakeholder Management, as well as Team and People Management.
