Job Title: Assembler (Medical Devices)

Job Summary:
The Assembler is responsible for assembling medical devices according to specifications, ensuring they meet quality control standards. They will document all work completed for quality assurance, properly handle defective parts, and ensure all components are installed correctly, in line with regulatory and safety requirements. The Assembler is also tasked with maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assemble Mechanical and PCB Components: Put together mechanical parts and systems according to blueprints and technical instructions.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues during the assembly process.
  • Maintenance: Keep tools and work area well-maintained and clean.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete job cards, material requisitions, and work orders.
  • Collaboration: Work with other teams and departments to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Packing: Carefully pack glucometers and accessories into designated packaging.
  • Labelling: Ensure packages are accurately labeled with product details and shipping information.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • ITI/Diploma in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Logical thinking with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, motivated, patient, and diligent.
  • Able to work independently and within teams.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
