About the Data Management Team

The Data Management department plays a critical role in processing clinical trial data, ensuring its accuracy and compliance. The team collaborates with various departments, including Programming, Coding, Safety, Lab, and Biostatistics, and works on multiple sponsor projects across therapeutic areas like Oncology, Medical Devices, Immunology, and Cardiovascular research.

 

Role Overview

As an Apprentice – Assistant Clinical Data Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting data management activities throughout the clinical trial lifecycle, from study setup to close-out. You will follow standard procedures, complete necessary training, and ensure data integrity while complying with regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

  • Complete required training within designated timelines.

  • Review and respond to data queries to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Perform data entry and database updates in accordance with quality expectations.

  • Work with Data Management operational workflows to maintain data integrity.

  • Review reports and take appropriate actions based on Data Management Plans (DMPs) and electronic Case Report Form (eCRF) review manuals.

  • Conduct data consistency checks and review data listings to ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and regulatory standards.

 

Qualifications & Skills

Education

  • University or college degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Certification in allied health professions from an accredited institution is also acceptable.

 

Skills & Competencies

  • Basic understanding of clinical research and medical terminology.

  • Knowledge of ICH-GCP principles and regulatory requirements.

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.

  • Proficiency in computer applications and data management tools.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Customer-focused approach with problem-solving skills.
