About the Team:
The Antibody team is dedicated to engineering and developing high-quality, specific antibodies for a range of immunoassay applications. The team's core activities include designing, developing, purifying, conjugating, and testing antibodies with a focus on advancing product development and creating product-specific information to support research use.

Role & Responsibilities:
As a key member of the antibody development team, you will contribute to the performance and specificity of antibodies using innovative molecular, protein, and cell biology methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute experiments meticulously to meet program goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of results in data sheets and laboratory notebooks.
  • Regularly mine literature to stay updated on antibody development, protein engineering, and molecular biology advancements.
  • Compile and present data in both written and oral formats. Actively participate in team meetings.
  • Contribute to organizing shared workspace and tracking common-use reagents.
  • Ensure adherence to schedules and attention to detail in all tasks.

Candidate Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Master's degree (0-4 years of experience) or Ph.D. in Life Sciences (with a recent submission in the last year), specializing in biotechnology, biochemistry, molecular biology, or immunology.

Experience:

  • Strong understanding of biochemical and immunoassay workflows, including recombinant protein expression and purification, ELISA, SDS-PAGE, Western blotting, IF, and IHC.
  • Proficient in molecular biology workflows such as molecular cloning, plasmid vector construction, PCRs, restriction digestion, ligation, transformation, and sequencing.
  • Practical experience with flow cytometry experiments is desirable.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve scientific problems.
  • Proficiency in molecular biology and sequence analysis software, MS Office, and statistical tools like GraphPad Prism.
  • Theoretical or practical experience in antibody development platforms is preferred.

Skills & Traits:

  • Ability to provide technical troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Experience with project reports, publications, or thesis work related to the field.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and possess strong statistical knowledge, including the use of Prism.
  • A self-motivated, quick learner who is able to apply new concepts for process improvements.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork abilities, capable of collaborating with diverse colleagues.
