We are currently seeking an Analyst for Patient-Oriented Programs (POP) to join our Hyderabad office. The role will focus on managing patient-oriented programs, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations while coordinating with cross-functional teams for successful execution.


About the Role:

As an Analyst in Patient-Oriented Program (POP), you will be responsible for managing the entire end-to-end process of POP. You will ensure compliance with relevant processes, quality standards, and the Doing Business Ethically (DBE) policy, and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to deliver successful patient programs. Your efforts will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of POPs and meeting organizational objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

Program Management:

  • Administer POP processes on behalf of the Business Owner (BO) in line with POP SOPs and DBE policy.
  • Coordinate with all relevant stakeholders (including Procurement, Legal, Patient Safety, Compliance, and Quality Assurance) to create and maintain POP documentation.
  • Ensure timely approvals are obtained for the conduct of POPs.
  • Oversee the External Service Provider (ESP) compliance check before fieldwork initiation.

Compliance and Monitoring:

  • Enter and maintain program details in the POPsys database throughout the program lifecycle (e.g., First Participant First Contact (FPFC), Last Participant Last Contact (LPLC), Adverse Event Reconciliation (AER), and program closure).
  • Track and ensure timely closure of all activities related to the POP process, and ensure no monitoring gaps before program completion.
  • Maintain documentation for all POP-related activities in the POP repository and monitor quality issues using the QI management tool.
  • Conduct proper root cause analysis and CAPA for any quality issues identified.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Liaise with cross-functional teams and provide timely updates on project status.
  • Escalate project-related findings and seek feedback to continuously improve program execution.
  • Ensure effective handovers of activities when transitioning roles or during planned leaves, in coordination with the POP Champion.

Essential Requirements:

  • 2-5 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly within Clinical, Pharmacovigilance (PV), Medical/Regulatory Affairs, or pharma compliance/commercial frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of local regulatory requirements and applicable pharmaceutical industry policies.
  • Ability to effectively communicate across different organizational levels and interact with global teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Life Sciences, etc.).
  • Advanced degree (Master’s or MBA) is highly desirable.
  • Experience working within Patient-Oriented Programs (POP) or related initiatives.
