Position Summary:

We are seeking an Adverse Event Intake Specialist fluent in German and English for a 12-month fixed-term contract to join our team. This role places you at the heart of Patient Safety, involving direct contact with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and patients. You will play a critical role in processing safety and product quality information to enhance the safety profiles of products across various therapeutic areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Processing: Manage lifecycle safety operational data, including data entry for tracking and safety databases, coding medical terminology, generating case-related queries, performing quality control, driving case closure, and coordinating translations.
  • Communication: Handle emails from investigative sites or other sources reporting safety data.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a positive, collaborative environment within the Lifecycle Safety team, lead by example, and provide training and mentoring to less experienced team members.
  • Feedback and Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Operations Team Manager and Customer Delivery Manager (CDM) on project metrics and challenges.
  • Project Liaison: Work with the Project Manager to proactively identify issues, propose solutions, provide technical support, prepare reports, track metrics, and handle SOW changes and potential change orders.
  • Training and Process Improvement: Participate in training sessions on Lifecycle Safety processes, contribute to working groups for new initiatives, and help identify and implement process efficiencies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a Life Science-related discipline.
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal skills in English (min. C1) and German (min. C2/native).
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on maintaining high-quality standards and accuracy.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects, organize workload effectively, and handle competing priorities.
  • Time Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills.
