Job Description:

The Account Research Specialist is responsible for supporting the creation and development of market account profiles. These profiles may include strategic account comparisons, national and regional health plan profiles, integrated delivery network/health system profiles, cancer center profiles, and other custom profiles based on client demand. Additionally, this individual will support various analytical tasks for market research projects in the assigned practices and service areas.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Profile Support: Develop and refine market account profiles, conduct secondary research, and assist in creating profile data collection tools.
  • Research & Analysis Support: Draft and test online data collection tools, format surveys and discussion guides, and perform basic statistical analysis.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned, contributing to team and organizational goals.
  • Development: Actively engage in skill development and champion organizational initiatives across the firm.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience Required:

  • B.S./B.A. in a relevant field of study.
  • Experience with project development or secondary research, gained through employment, coursework, or other relevant activities.

Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Project management skills, with an ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluent in English (both written and oral).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS, MPH) preferred.
  • Experience with statistical packages such as Q, SPSS, or SAS.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field (e.g., business, health management, research).
