Position Summary

The Account Research Specialist will support the development of comprehensive market account profiles, including strategic comparisons, national and regional health plan profiles, and integrated delivery network/health system analyses based on client demand. This role will also involve various analytical tasks related to market research projects.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Profile Development:

    • Create and refine market account profiles through thorough secondary research.

    • Support team members in developing data collection tools for profiles.

  • Research & Analysis Support:

    • Draft and test online data collection tools.

    • Format surveys and discussion guides with input from the research project team.

    • Conduct basic statistical analysis as needed.

  • Development:

    • Champion organizational initiatives and engage in ongoing skill development.

    • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience Required:

  • B.S./B.A. in a relevant field.

  • Experience in project development and secondary research through employment, coursework, etc.

Skills & Abilities Requirements:

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.

  • Project management skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.

  • Team player with the ability to interact across all levels.

  • Capability to work independently when necessary.

  • Proficiency in MS Office.

  • Fluent in English (written and oral).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS, MPH) preferred.

  • Working knowledge of statistical packages such as Q, SPSS, or SAS.

  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field (business, health management, research).
