Position Summary:

The Account Research Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the development of market account profiles, conducting research and analysis to support various market research projects. This position involves working with national, regional, and specialized health plans, integrated delivery networks, cancer centers, and other client-driven profile suites. The role also includes creating and refining data collection tools, conducting statistical analysis, and assisting with client needs in the research process.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Profile Support:

  • Develop and refine market account profiles based on client needs.

  • Conduct thorough secondary research to gather relevant market data.

  • Collaborate with team members in creating tools for profile data collection.

Research & Analysis Support:

  • Draft and test online data collection tools (e.g., surveys, discussion guides).

  • Assist with formatting surveys and guides with input from the research project team.

  • Conduct basic statistical analysis to support research findings.

  • Contribute to other research projects and tasks as assigned.

Development and Organizational Initiatives:

  • Support organizational initiatives and continuous skill development.

  • Demonstrate commitment to professional growth and development.


Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • B.S./B.A. in a relevant field (e.g., business, health management, research).

  • Experience with project development and secondary research (through work, coursework, or internships).

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.

  • Project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects.

  • Effective communication skills (both verbal and written).

  • High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Fluent in English (written and oral).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS, MPH) preferred.

  • Experience with statistical analysis tools such as Q, SPSS, or SAS.

  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field (e.g., business, health management, research).
