Position Overview

The Account Research Specialist will play a key role in supporting the development of comprehensive market account profiles, including strategic account comparisons, national and regional health plan profiles, integrated delivery network profiles, cancer center profiles, and more. This individual will also provide analytical support for various market research projects in assigned practices and service areas.


Key Responsibilities

Profile Support

  • Develop and refine market account profiles based on client requirements.
  • Conduct thorough secondary research to gather and analyze relevant data.
  • Support the creation of profile data collection tools and methodologies.

Research & Analysis Support

  • Assist in drafting and testing online data collection tools, such as surveys and discussion guides.
  • Provide formatting and analytical support for research materials in collaboration with the research project team.
  • Conduct basic statistical analysis to inform data-driven decision-making.
  • Contribute to the interpretation of findings and the development of actionable insights.

Development & Organizational Support

  • Champion organizational initiatives, helping to drive continuous improvement and best practices.
  • Actively engage in skill development and training to advance professional growth.
  • Take on additional duties as assigned to support the research team and wider organization.

Qualifications

Required

  • Education: A B.S./B.A. in a relevant field of study is required.
  • Experience:
    • Experience with project development and secondary research (including through prior employment, coursework, or internships).
    • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage projects effectively and work under pressure.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Fluent in English (both written and oral).

Preferred

  • Education: An advanced degree (MBA, MS, MPH) is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 1-2 years of experience in business, health management, research, or related fields.
    • Working knowledge of statistical tools such as Q, SPSS, or SAS.
    • Previous experience in research, health management, or data analytics.
