Account Manager - Hematology

Location: BeiGene, Global (Remote with travel requirements)

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Division Sales Manager, the Account Manager - Hematology plays a crucial role in achieving BeiGene’s sales goals by promoting our hematology products to healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will efficiently manage their territory, handle administrative tasks, and ensure full compliance with regulations while effectively supporting and educating physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare providers on the use of BeiGene’s portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Promotion and Education:

    • Promote BeiGene’s hematology products to targeted physicians within the assigned territory, implementing sales, marketing, and patient support programs.
    • Train and educate physician support staff on the proper use and handling of BeiGene’s hematology products.
    • Ensure healthcare professionals have realistic expectations regarding the use of BeiGene’s products.
  • Collaboration and Communication:

    • Maintain communication and coordinate activities with BeiGene’s Market Access Team.
    • Identify and address customer changes, ensuring appropriate resources are allocated.
    • Complete all required coursework and compliance assignments related to product knowledge.
  • Administrative and Compliance Tasks:

    • Perform administrative functions, including reporting call activity and customer information into the call reporting system, and submitting expense reports.
    • Assist in identifying and resolving issues and opportunities, and communicate proactively with marketing and sales management.
    • Support compliance with BeiGene’s policies and procedures, including healthcare compliance and adverse event reporting.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. / B.S.) required.

  • Experience: 8+ years in pharmaceutical sales and sales management, with significant experience in hematology preferred.

  • Skills:

    • Independent, self-starting work style with a strong focus on customer service.
    • Results-oriented with strategic sales planning capabilities.
    • Experience in specialty sales, including understanding of reimbursement, distribution, and managed care processes.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and proven track record in developing new business.
    • Ability to analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs).
    • Familiarity with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned geography, including daily and overnight travel up to 25%.

Salary Range: $153,900 - $198,900 annually. Actual compensation is determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, and location. The listed range reflects base salary only. Employees may also receive bonuses, equity awards, and participate in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
