JOB SUMMARY

This position is a part of the India Oncology team & will be responsible for designing and executing brand strategy. The role will involve developing promotion, cycle campaigns, briefing, and coordinating with the field force for promotional strategy. The cornerstone for successful implementation of programs will be guided by focus on Channel Optimization & Activation & Performance Analysis.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

Strategic

  • Manage the life cycle for existing brands and new launch preparations.

  • Develop the strategy roadmap for the portfolio of the Oncology business.

  • Drive brand plans and conduct scoping exercises for multi-channel marketing initiatives based on disease and market insights.

  • Leverage analytics to assess current and future business trends and deploy plans to accelerate business growth and mitigate risks.

  • Take financial accountability for brands in the portfolio, including revenue, promotional budgets, and profitability.

Operational

  • Define and implement the brand strategies and monitor SLAs with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Design creative marketing and promotional campaigns, training the sales force to maximize the impact of activities and return on investment.

  • Liaise with external agencies to deliver initiatives for the brand.

  • Monitor business performance and the external environment, delivering corrective actions to meet business objectives.

  • Plan and allocate the marketing budget for products to maximize return on marketing expenditure.

  • Provide timely and relevant inputs to the Sales team to maintain/improve brand health and achieve market share, sales, and profits.

  • Develop and sustain scientific relationships with key opinion leaders.

  • Conduct regular field visits to understand marketing plan implementation and obtain customer insights.

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with processes and adherence to Pfizer policies in executing brand strategies.

  • Collaborate with the Medical & Marketing teams to validate content developed.

  • Run periodic risk assessments and define mitigation plans for programs/campaigns.

  • Adhere to guidelines laid down by regulators while designing brand campaigns.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA in Marketing

  • 5 years of experience in Brand/Product management, preferably in Oncology or other specialized innovative therapy areas


RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

  • Good understanding of the Indian healthcare market and pharmaceutical industry.

  • Ability to work in a matrix organization.

  • Ability to develop and execute structured project plans.

  • Compliance with the highest ethical standards.

  • Sound understanding of multi-channel marketing and stakeholder engagement.
