About the Role:

Cencora is seeking a strategic and visionary Director – Clinical Trials Synergies and Strategy to lead transformative initiatives across pharmaceutical marketing, stakeholder collaboration, and organizational alignment. Based in Spain, this high-impact role will focus on aligning strategic growth efforts, building internal and external synergies, and managing cross-functional teams across diverse business units.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Consulting Leadership:

  • Lead consulting initiatives focused on market access, pricing, market research, and commercial strategy.

  • Conduct detailed market and competitor analysis to guide business decisions.

  • Create operational strategies that improve healthcare efficiency and reduce costs.

Marketing Leadership:

  • Design and implement impactful marketing plans to enhance brand equity and customer engagement.

  • Drive optimal market positioning and maximize service reach.

Strategic Growth & Cross-Functional Synergies:

  • Architect and execute commercial growth strategies to expand service adoption.

  • Foster alignment among departments including sales, operations, finance, and global teams.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Develop and manage strong relationships with internal leaders and external clients.

  • Organize innovation workshops and strategic meetings with key accounts.

Group Synergy Development:

  • Identify and implement opportunities for cooperation among group companies.

  • Facilitate shared-resource strategies and promote joint value creation.

Leadership & Culture Building:

  • Direct both individual contributors and cross-functional teams.

  • Mentor talent and champion a results-driven, collaborative culture.


Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • MBA from a recognized top-tier business school

    • Bachelor’s in Medicine, Pharmacy, or related life science discipline

  • Experience:

    • 10–15 years in strategic leadership roles within the pharmaceutical or medtech industry

    • Proven expertise in commercial growth strategy and stakeholder management

    • History of leading global, cross-functional teams
