Summary:
The Associate Director, Health Information Technology (ADHIT) will lead strategic initiatives and serve as a subject matter expert in Health IT. The role focuses on educating US health systems and provider groups about health information technology systems, such as electronic health records (EHR), to enhance patient diagnosis, treatment, and management, driving key initiatives at the point of care.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement:

    • Define and identify key clinical stakeholders, such as CMIOs and EHR/EMR vendors, and participate in Health IT-related engagements.

    • Serve as a trusted point of contact for population health/Health IT initiatives.

    • Conduct regular meetings with customers to provide Health IT-related insights.

    • Develop and execute account plans for navigating customer landscapes and initiatives.

  • Subject Matter Expertise:

    • Act as a technical and workflow expert, collaborating with Novartis cross-functional teams.

    • Contribute to developing scalable, EHR-enabled tools for key therapeutic areas.

  • Strategic Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with Novartis account teams for insights on care management and HIT implementation.


Essential Requirements:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years in Health IT, healthcare systems, EHR, or related fields.

    • Experience applying Health IT in inpatient and ambulatory settings.

    • Customer-facing experience with strong customer service and leadership capabilities.

  • Skills:

    • Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.

    • Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence and collaborate.


Desirable Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with EHR products (e.g., Epic, Allscripts, Cerner).

  • Knowledge of the Health IT landscape and healthcare reform initiatives.


Compensation:

  • Expected salary range: $132,300 - $245,700/year.

  • Additional compensation elements: sign-on bonus, stock units, discretionary awards, and a full range of benefits, including 401(k) and paid time off.
