Job Overview

The Account Manager will be responsible for promoting Sun Dermatology’s Photodynamic Therapy and Cutaneous Oncology products. The primary goal is to optimize business opportunities within physician offices, clinics, and hospital accounts specializing in Medical Dermatology. This role demands excellence in developing and executing account business plans, reaching call goals, and achieving sales objectives while collaborating with field-based employees across various functions such as Customer Engagement, Reimbursement, and Managed Markets.


Key Responsibilities

Sales and Account Management

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business plans to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Maintain consistent call frequencies and reach targets to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Manage sales reports, CRM tools, and forecasts to track performance and adjust strategies.

Collaboration and Cross-functional Integration

  • Coordinate with internal teams such as Reimbursement, Managed Markets, and Customer Engagement to drive product adoption and acceptance.
  • Foster strong professional relationships with healthcare providers and decision-makers in target accounts.

Customer Engagement and Service

  • Provide a high level of customer service and expertise, ensuring the promotion and usage of Sun Dermatology products.
  • Present scientific and clinical data in a clear, understandable, and persuasive manner to healthcare professionals.

Sales and Financial Reporting

  • Timely completion of sales reports, CRM tasks, and tracking of account budgets.
  • Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical/Buy and Bill Sales, Medical Device, or Cutaneous Oncology.
  • Strong communication and clinical acumen.
  • Proven ability to collaborate, innovate, and achieve sales results.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Preferred:

  • Experience in Medical Dermatology or dermatology-related fields.
  • Experience navigating complex reimbursement and access environments.
  • Background in rare disease markets and product launches.
  • Dermatology sales experience in highly competitive environments.

  • Experienced in delivering complex scientific information to healthcare professionals in an accessible manner.

Supervision and Reporting

  • Reports to the Regional Sales Manager.
